Kamilari is a traditional village and, despite its small size, it has a lot of things to offer to the visitors.
It is a picturesque village spread out over three little hills among the olive and orange orchards of the Messara Plain, and the archaeological sites of Festos, Agia Triada, Gortys and Komo are just nearby.

There is a playground at the church square and several taverns, cafes, mini-markets and shops in the village center.
Kalamaki and Komos beach are only 2.5 km away, and the area offers numerous hikes and outings.
